Team Dai Challenge
2023
This year the challenge was completed by 29 riders cycling 420 km through the beautiful landscapes of Phou Khao Khouay.
The first Team Dai Challenge was completed in 2008. Since then, Team Dai has cycled through the amazing landscapes of Laos and raised more than 200,000 USD for local organizations supporting Lao people, including support to land mine removal operations, elephant conservation centres, women’s shelters, orphanages, schools, and hospitals.
Team Dai is a non-registered group of individual cycling enthusiasts based in Vientiane capital. The annual challenge, which often has included riders from abroad, is planned and executed by volunteers. Funds are raised through corporate sponsorships and private donations. While riders cover all cost of the ride, 100% all funds raised are forwarded directly to the charity every year.
Team Dai is very proud to announce the final amount of 15,386 USD raised for the Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife.
